Calm Harbor Psychiatric Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the mental well-being of our community members by providing therapeutic support as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. This position comes with a competitive salary range of $120,000 โ€“ $130,000 yearly.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist at Calm Harbor Psychiatric Solutions, you will engage actively with a diverse clientele and take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting supportive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring that therapeutic protocols are adhered to.
  • Observing and documenting pertinent patient information related to their treatment plans, including their emotional and behavioral patterns.
  • Orienting new patients and their families about the treatment process and available resources, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Assisting patients with personal needs when necessary, demonstrating a holistic approach to mental health care.
  • Writing comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect patient progress toward established treatment goals, maintaining compliance with departmental standards.
  • Timely completion of progress notes and documentation, ensuring they are clear, legible, and reflective of patient progress.
  • Managing crisis situations by assessing changes in patient behavior and implementing appropriate interventions as per treatment protocols.
  • Advocating for necessary services and resources for patients, ensuring they receive the support they need.
  • Applying time management skills effectively to prioritize tasks, ensuring premium patient care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and families. This diversity offers the opportunity to address a wide range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment will be crucial in guiding patients toward improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of an independent license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state board; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Proven ability to conduct professional evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Proficient in using technology, including electronic health records systems, to maintain patient documentation and facilitate remote consultations.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience working in a community health setting, familiarity with telehealth platforms, and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic methodologies will be highly advantageous.
