Within Ceva's Sensors & Audio Business, we develop and license advanced sensor fusion and spatial audio software and sell sensor fusion enabled hardware components to global electronic OEMs and semiconductor companies. Our technologies enable differentiated user experiences across smart TVs, hearables, wearables, PC peripherals, XR glasses and peripherals, robotics, and other intelligent connected products.
Position can be in Rockville, Maryland or Mountain View, California.
About the Role:
Ceva is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Product Marketing Director for our Sensors & Audio Business. This individual will lead outbound product marketing activities while driving go-to-market strategy, product strategy and roadmap development, customer engagement, business development, and cross-functional alignment across sales, engineering, and marketing. As part of business development, the candidate will identify and open new customer licensing opportunities, shape commercial deal terms, and help carry them through negotiation to close.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with business and market leadership experience in sensors, audio, embedded software, consumer electronics, and/or semiconductors. This role requires close collaboration with the business R&D team located in Rockville, MD, Ceva's worldwide sales team, corporate marketing, and our global customers to define winning product strategies and deliver differentiated solutions aligned with market needs.
Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Leadership
Own product positioning, messaging, and value proposition development for Ceva's MotionEngine™ sensor fusion and RealSpace® spatial audio solutions.
Define and drive outbound marketing strategy including product launches, pricing, competitive positioning, collateral creation, and customer-facing content.
Partner closely with the corporate marketing team to develop sales tools, white papers, webinars, digital campaigns, and trade show messaging.
Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry trends in spatial audio (headphones, TWS, gaming, AR glasses), motion remote control, robotics, and IMU sensor fusion markets.
Customer & Sales Engagement
Collaborate with global sales and FAE teams to drive pipeline development, customer adoption, and revenue growth.
Support Ceva's global sales teams with customer-facing presentations, technical and business positioning, and strategic account engagement.
Engage directly with OEMs, semiconductor companies, and ecosystem partners to understand requirements and identify growth opportunities.
Direct the operations of the sensor fusion components product line working with operations staff, global distributors and silicon / sensor partners.
Be the business owner in licensing and contract negotiations working in collaboration with legal, finance and sales.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Development
Gather and synthesize market intelligence, customer feedback, competitive insights, and sales input to shape product strategy and R&D priorities.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap in partnership with the business and engineering leadership.
Drive alignment between business objectives, product investments, and technology innovation.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the business focal point between sales, marketing, and legal.
Participate in quarterly business reviews and management updates and contribute insights on market opportunities, customer engagements, competitive landscape and product strategy.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, product line management, or business development within embedded software, consumer electronics, audio, sensing, semiconductors, or related technology markets.
• Demonstrated experience with audio technologies and their commercial application, spanning areas such as spatial/immersive audio, active noise cancellation (ANC), noise reduction, voice/speech enhancement, and audio DSP or codecs.
• Experience working with consumer electronics OEMs and semiconductor customers.
• Demonstrated success driving product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and customer engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and open new customer opportunities and carry licensing deals through commercial negotiation to close.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer value propositions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging executive audiences and customers.
