Job description

Overview

Our Maintenance Technicians serve as a member of the roadside maintenance organization. You will proactively deliver preventive maintenance and failure repairs on tolling equipment, safely and responsibly. This opportunity is available in Lisle, Illinois. This is for the 5am - 1pm shift, with rotating 24/7 on-call requirements.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance/Installation, Configuration Support and Troubleshooting for:

  • Linux and Windows based PCs
  • Video cameras, lighting, and controllers for image collection systems
  • Radio Frequency System (RFID) readers
  • Vehicle Sensors such as Inductive Loops, Treadles, Optical Separators, etc.
  • Local and Wide Area Network equipment

Monitoring and Performance

  • Monitor system performance both on-site and remotely.
  • Ensure systems performance is maintained within specifications.
  • Optimize performance within system specifications.

Service Agreements

  • Provide responsive field and/or remote service for all assigned equipment.
  • Work a rotation on-call schedule to ensure after-hours support.
  • Complete routine preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Support the Operations Project Manager in meeting the needs of the client.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Electronics, considered an asset.
  • Relevant Military training
  • A combination of training and job-related experience.

Work Environment

  • Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes extreme.
  • Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record and background checks, as required.
  • Work at heights up to 40 ft utilizing bucket trucks, ladders, or other means.
  • OSHA Certifications required may be required.

Desired Maintenance Experience with:

  • Toll collection systems
  • Military Electronics fields such as Avionics, Communication, etc.
  • PC/Server Service
  • RFID System Service
  • Security and Surveillance System Service
