We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Medical Records Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time remote position with the flexibility of day or night shifts available. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and confidential management of patient medical records, playing a crucial role in our mission to deliver unparalleled medical care driven by compassion and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process, organise, and maintain patient medical records within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure all medical records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with data protection regulations and internal policies.
  • Handle the secure retrieval and release of medical information to patients, healthcare providers, and other authorised parties, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Scan, index, and file clinical documentation and correspondence correctly.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits on medical records to ensure their integrity and accuracy.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding medical records in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless flow of information.
