The Site Superintendent/Electrician with Electrician Certification is responsible for overall management control and accountability for technical performance, quality control and safety performance, associated with their assigned project site. The Site Superintendent will commit resources needed to effectively and efficiently perform the requirements of the project site to include the areas of safety and security of the overall site, equipment oversight, subcontractor and vendor oversight, material management, field office management, and personnel assigned to the project site.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of the specific project site effort with the autonomy to execute operations for compliance with contract SOW requirements.
  • Perform electrical tasks such as installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and components as applicable.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Primary liaison with the customer/client on site.
  • Capable of understanding and applying the requirements contained in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Regulations, EM 385-1-1.
  • Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management and other departments.
  • Monitor and report field execution status with Project Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership.
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing Site Investigation Reports with designers and engineers as applicable. Prepare draft reports for client out-brief for each installation.
  • Foresee a project's obstacles, risks, and constraints and effectively plan around them.
  • Complete Daily Quality Control Reports (DQCR).
  • Perform and follow the USACE 3 phase inspection process. (as appropriate)
  • Ensure the appropriate amounts of qualified labor and management necessary to perform operations and support services are available and employed in a cost effective, safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Direct the enforcement of the site-specific safety plan.
  • Supervisory responsibilities of all project site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Possess and maintain Journeyman Electrical Certification
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience working as an electrician on aviation fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction projects or other industrial/commercial construction projects.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience with aviation fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction including operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • OSHA 30 hour Safety Course
  • Possess and maintain valid State Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to provide a favorable motor vehicle report
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Knowledgeable, skilled, and trained in written communications to initiate and to compose and/or enforce the activity hazard analysis as set forth in EM 385-1-1 for each individual specific work task.
  • Skilled and trained in oral communications to implement the activity hazard analysis prior to performing each work task.
  • Knowledge of UFGS for DoD Fueling System Design
  • Knowledge of API 650/653, API 570, ASME welding requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction design/engineering documents
  • Ability to read and interpret project schedules
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Ability to use commercial software programs such as Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.
  • Possess proficiency in assigned function and attention to details.
  • Ability to obtain a CAC card
