Harmony Minds Therapy Center is looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the unique opportunity to provide trauma-informed care to individuals navigating the complex journey of mental health recovery. You will play a critical role in promoting healing and resilience through evidenced-based therapies.

At Harmony Minds Therapy Center, we are devoted to creating a sanctuary for trauma survivors seeking mental health services. Our outpatient telehealth facility specializes in treating a variety of trauma-related conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We pride ourselves on fostering a safe and supportive environment conducive to healing, where each patient is treated with the utmost compassion and respect.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining high standards of care. Our team employs telehealth platforms to provide individual and group therapy, ensuring that our therapists can connect meaningfully with patients in the comfort of their own surroundings. While our core work hours run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you may be required to adjust your schedule based on patient needs, reflecting our commitment to accessible mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, addressing the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and coordinated care for patients.
  • Provide crisis interventions when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping skills, and community resources, empowering them to become active participants in their healing process.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
