The Life Matters Counseling Center is actively searching for a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality, culturally sensitive mental health services in a remote setting. This position is entirely remote, which allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our community health clinic model enables therapists to connect with clients from their homes, enriching patient engagement and continuity of care.

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments by gathering information about clients' backgrounds and experiences to inform personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques, tailored to the individual needs of clients.
• Provide therapy sessions to individuals, families, and groups to address a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that clients receive well-rounded, coordinated care.
• Deliver crisis intervention during difficult mental health episodes, providing immediate support to clients in need.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Contribute to team dynamics by participating in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training related to cultural competency and best practices.
• Engage with current research, integrating new findings into practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competence.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy using inclusive and culturally responsive methods.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport-building with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• A commitment to uphold professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a remote counseling environment or community health clinic is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and their application within diverse populations.
• Interest in ongoing professional development including training in cultural competency.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
