This position will operate on a remote, contractual basis.
Are you an experienced blogger with a knack for cutting through the fat and extracting the beating heart of a story in a flash? Do you spend your weekends optimizing your home lab, distro-hopping, or finding new ways to integrate AI into your daily workflow?
XDA is seeking a Software & Productivity Features Writer to cover the latest and most relevant software updates, AI tools, and power-user workflows in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The XDA team is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve, continuously sourcing the latest in computing developments, sharing tips, tutorials, and videos, while reviewing devices, apps, and games.
Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to contribute reliable and consistent feature content under tight deadlines.
  • Cover a broad range of software topics including AI tools, productivity apps, self-hosting, home labs, and PC software.
  • Willing to input work into our in-house CMS, as well as find and format images, according to our guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software releases, AI advancements, and the self-hosting ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback.
