Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health statuses.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s needs.
• Work in close coordination with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless and comprehensive care for every client.
• Educate clients' families about substance use disorders and their roles in the recovery process, promoting family involvement in treatment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in addiction treatment, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic approaches to improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals who are navigating the challenges of substance use disorders, often accompanied by underlying mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with diverse populations, tailoring your approach to meet the unique cultural and socio-economic needs of each client, facilitating effective recovery processes that foster long-term wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Prior experience and specialized training in addiction counseling are required.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated therapeutic skills with a keen ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively within a team structure.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing telehealth services, particularly in the mental health and substance abuse fields.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and educational background.
