Work Environment

You will engage with students and families primarily through virtual means, utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct assessments and therapeutic sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges to inform tailored intervention strategies.
• Develop individualized service plans, setting specific goals and interventions while monitoring client progress.
• Provide evidence-based counseling and emotional support to individuals and families, specifically targeting life transitions and crises.
• Facilitate collaboration with clients to connect them with essential community resources, enhancing their well-being.
• Implement crisis interventions, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans as necessary to ensure client safety.
• Coordinate with various community agencies and organizations to streamline services and advocate effectively for clients' needs.
• Engage in proactive community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote agency services.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students and families in the school setting, addressing issues such as academic stress, family dynamics, mental health concerns, and social integration. You will utilize trauma-informed care practices to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, ensuring that each client feels heard and valued. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues, as well as community resources available for support.
• Proficient in trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Exceptional communication and cultural competency skills, ensuring respectful interactions with diverse demographic groups.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
