We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Good Life Psychotherapy PTE. LTD. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide essential mental health services remotely, within a community health clinic setting. Your role as a mental health counselor will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families through culturally relevant care, crisis intervention, and educational outreach.

Work Environment

This position operates in a remote capacity, allowing for flexible work arrangements while still being part of a collaborative team. You will have access to online tools and platforms that facilitate effective communication and service delivery, including telehealth software and electronic health record systems. Working under the supervision of the Wellness Program Director, alongside the Children & Family Services Director, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to holistic client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized clinical counseling services, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to create treatment plans that address psychological, emotional, and social factors affecting clients' wellbeing.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and community workshops aimed at mental health education, prevention strategies, and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements while safeguarding client confidentiality.
  • Actively participate in regular staff meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery and team collaboration.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse clientele consisting of individuals and families within the community. This role supports individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. As a counselor, you will foster a trusting environment that empowers clients to share their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required for this role.
