Job Description:
The Director of Business Development will drive growth across the Intel & Cyber sector, building strong relationships with IC and federal customers to support their most critical missions. This leader will report to the Sector President. He/She will set strategy, identify new opportunities, and advance pursuits that expand our presence in key markets. They will oversee and develop a highperforming team of business development and sales professionals to achieve sector growth objectives.
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for the development and performance of all business development and sales activities for the Intel & Cyber sector, supporting an annual orders target in excess of $1B.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with intelligence community organizations, federal agencies, and key mission stakeholders to position the company for strategic opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities that align with customer missions and sector priorities, ensuring a healthy and competitive pipeline.
  • Team player who partners closely with the Senior Leadership Team, setting the standard for a highperforming organization and consistently modeling the company values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence.
  • Oversee a team of business development and sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance leadership to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer," helping shape future product and technology roadmaps by identifying mission needs, emerging market opportunities, and strategic growth pathways.
  • Drive expansion into core target markets and elevate revenue growth as the organization continues to advance its Intelligence and Cyber mission offerings.
  • Partner closely with capture, proposal, operations, and technical teams to drive win strategies and ensure successful pursuit outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform sector strategy and investment decisions.
  • Develop and manage annual business development plans, metrics, and forecasts, ensuring disciplined pipeline management and accountability.
  • Engage in customer meetings, industry events, and government forums to raise the organization's profile and support missiondriven growth.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal processes and US federal regulatory requirements, including compliance with acquisition regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • 5 years of business development experience in defense / DOW and national security markets, including developing winning campaigns, managing complex captures, and maintaining a strong network of customer and industry contacts.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience coaching, mentoring, and guiding highperforming teams, supported by strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of Intelligence Community and Special Operations Community missions, market dynamics, procurement processes, and capability acquisition programs, with demonstrated ability to build relationships across diverse cultures and operate effectively in a global, travel intensive environment.
