About Teaching Channel

Employment Type:
  • Full-Time
  • Exempt
  • Salaried

Location: Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S.
The Opportunity
The Senior Marketing Manager, B2B Growth is a member of Teaching Channel's Marketing team and serves as the primary marketing partner supporting Teaching Channel's district growth initiatives. This role is responsible for building awareness, generating qualified school/district leads, and supporting pipeline growth through targeted campaigns, content, events, and sales enablement initiatives. This role will architect the B2B demand engine, owning strategy, performance, and optimization across the full pipeline from top-of-funnel awareness through closed-won revenue.
Working closely with sales and cross-functional partners, this role develops marketing strategies that align with district purchasing processes, stakeholder needs, and long-term sales cycles. The Senior Marketing Manager also collaborates across the broader K12 Coalition Marketing team to support a consistent customer experience and may contribute to enterprise-wide marketing initiatives as needed.
The Senior Marketing Manager, B2B Growth reports to the Director, Marketing, Teaching Channel.
What You'll Do
B2B Demand Generation & Pipeline Development
  • Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies for Teaching Channel+ and the Teaching Channel Platform, with responsibility for school/district lead generation, pipeline growth, and marketing-sourced revenue.
  • Architect and continuously optimize a multi-channel demand generation engine spanning LinkedIn, paid search, programmatic display, email, direct mail, webinars, and content syndication.
  • Build and manage a full-funnel lead nurturing system that moves school/district prospects from initial awareness through evaluation, purchase intent, and closed-won.
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting priority district accounts.
  • Plan and support Teaching Channel's participation in conferences, trade shows, webinars, and virtual events to generate awareness and qualified leads.
  • Create campaigns and content that support school/district decision-makers throughout the buying process.

HubSpot & Revenue Operations
  • Own HubSpot as the B2B marketing intelligence platform managing lead scoring models, lifecycle stages, workflow automation, campaign attribution, and pipeline dashboards.
  • Design and maintain lead scoring frameworks that accurately reflect buyer intent and readiness, enabling precise MQL-to-SQL handoffs with the sales team.
  • Develop and own marketing performance dashboards that track pipeline velocity, conversion rates by stage, campaign attribution, and return on marketing investment reporting regularly to leadership.

Sales Enablement & Alignment
  • Partner with the sales team to align on target accounts, lead qualification criteria, handoff processes, and pipeline reporting.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement resources, including case studies, ROI tools, proposal materials, implementation guides, and product collateral.
  • Create district-focused messaging that addresses organizational priorities such as educator development, retention, compliance, budget planning, and instructional outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance, including pipeline contribution, conversion rates, campaign effectiveness, and marketing-influenced revenue.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 6-9 years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, field marketing, or a related area supporting enterprise or institutional buyers.
  • HubSpot expertise including lead scoring, lifecycle stage management, workflow automation, campaign attribution, and revenue reporting.
  • Experience developing and executing account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and campaigns.
  • Understanding of complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance, pipeline metrics, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred
  • Experience within the education sector.
  • Familiarity with school/district procurement processes, education funding sources, and district budget cycles.
  • HubSpot certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience using ABM platforms, intent data tools, or similar technologies.
