Description
Elire is currently in search of a Summer 2027 Technical Support Internship to join our Operations team during the Summer of 2027. The individual in this role will assist in help desk/technical support situations, i.e. configurations, networks, systems, hardware and other IT tasks critical to Elire. Come be part of a fast-paced team atmosphere where you will be exposed to technical support projects and initiatives within a software and management consulting organization.
Role Overview:
  • Position is based at Elire's Minneapolis office
  • Individual will work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Individual provides support to employees, consultants, and all internal departments
  • Internship can be for up to 40 hours per week and is paid

As a Tech Support Intern your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
  • Understand and set up employee laptops including understanding employee software needs
  • Support the Administrator in Microsoft technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Support the Administrator in additional business applications, including Salesforce and other SaaS platforms used by the organization.
  • Help with and track IT assets

Main Office & Remote Technical Support and Corporate Desktop Support:
  • Support new employee onboarding and offboarding IT needs
  • Provide end-user desktop support and troubleshooting assistance
  • System Management and Administration: Monitor our Cloud based systems and serve as the point person for support tickets and issue resolution

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities
  • Proven sensitivity to cultural diversity in the business environment
  • Actively pursuing degree in IT related field - Computer Science, MIS, IT Technology, etc.
