Job description

About Nimbus
Nimbus is a leading independent mediation platform powering monetization for some of the most sophisticated mobile publishers globally.
Our platform enables publishers to access brand and performance demand across SDK and server-side partnership integrations, delivering transparency, control, and measurable revenue outcomes in an increasingly complex ecosystem.
As the industry shifts toward auction-based monetization and supply path optimization (SPO), Nimbus is positioned as a neutral, high-performance alternative to legacy and vertically integrated platforms.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an all-star Head of Demand Partnerships to lead and expand Nimbus' strategic relationships across DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, ad networks, agencies, and monetization partners. This role will focus on growing demand-side revenue, increasing auction competitiveness, identifying monetization opportunities, and helping shape the future of Nimbus+ and our broader monetization ecosystem.
How will you help us achieve it?
As the primary commercial lead for demand-side partnerships, you will own strategic relationships across the mobile advertising ecosystem while helping drive revenue growth and monetization performance across the Nimbus platform. Your primary objectives are to grow demand adoption, expand strategic partnerships, increase buyer participation, and maximize monetization outcomes for Nimbus publishers.
You value building trusted, long-term partnerships and understand how to position Nimbus as a sophisticated, publisher-first monetization platform. You communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and are comfortable navigating strategic conversations around SPO, auction mechanics, exchange dynamics, and mobile monetization infrastructure.
You understand the complexities of the mobile programmatic ecosystem and know how to identify growth opportunities across DSPs, exchanges, agencies, and demand partners. You are highly analytical, commercially driven, and capable of translating data and performance trends into actionable business recommendations.
Internally, you are highly collaborative and operate as a strategic cross-functional partner across Product, Auction Science, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, and Executive Leadership. Your teammates would describe you as commercially sophisticated, relationship-oriented, analytical, proactive, and deeply knowledgeable about the mobile advertising ecosystem.
The responsibilities of the role
Manage and expand strategic relationships across DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, agencies, ad networks, and monetization partners to drive increased revenue and buyer participation across the Nimbus platform.
Responsible for ownership and growth of demand-side partnerships to ensure Nimbus expands strategic monetization opportunities, increases demand density, strengthens exchange competitiveness, and improves publisher monetization performance.
Identify, negotiate, and execute strategic partnership opportunities across:
  • Open Marketplace demand
  • PMPs
  • Direct Deals
  • Programmatic Guaranteed
  • SPO initiatives
  • Exchange integrations
  • Custom monetization opportunities

Work closely with publishers and internal teams to align buyer demand with publisher monetization objectives and strategic growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Auction Science, Product, and Engineering teams to analyze auction dynamics, identify monetization opportunities, improve buyer participation, and optimize yield performance across the platform.
Monitor partner performance, analyze monetization trends, and proactively identify opportunities to improve revenue, scale strategic relationships, and increase market share.
Represent Nimbus externally across industry conferences, partner meetings, strategic initiatives, and ecosystem conversations while helping strengthen Nimbus' market positioning as a leading independent monetization platform.
Assist in developing strategic GTM initiatives including partner launches, case studies, monetization narratives, conference strategy, and ecosystem positioning.
Maintain strong knowledge of:
  • Mobile programmatic advertising
  • In-app mediation
  • RTB auctions
  • Supply Path Optimization (SPO)
  • Mobile monetization infrastructure
  • DSP buying behavior
  • Exchange dynamics
  • Industry trends and competitive landscape

Support internal operational initiatives including partnership onboarding, deal execution, troubleshooting escalations, performance investigations, strategic reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination across the organization.
$170,000 - $200,000 a year
What you bring to the role
  • 7+ years of ad tech experience with a strong understanding of the mobile programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, agencies, publishers, mediation platforms, and RTB infrastructure.
  • >
  • Familiarity with SDK-based monetization on iOS and Android.
  • >
  • Proven track record of developing and growing strategic commercial relationships across demand-side partners, exchanges, agencies, and monetization platforms.
  • >
  • A passion for figuring out solutions to complex business problems faced by clients, including strong data analysis skills across large data sets to identify trends, draw meaningful conclusions, and make action-oriented recommendations.
  • >
  • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • >
  • Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment.
  • >
  • Existing relationships across the mobile advertising ecosystem are strongly preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent verbal/written communication skills in-person and via video conference, phone, email, and Slack.
  • >
  • BS or BA is desirable.
  • >
