Job description

Cybersecurity - IAM Senior Resource

Large Law Firm Location: Remote, but the individual should be in one of these locations: NYC, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, LA. The reason is that one day the individual has to go to the law office. Type: Full-time US Citizens, GC holders preferred, NO third-party corp to corp accepted for this job

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IAM/IGA engineering and operations teams, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
  • Partner with leadership to define strategic roadmaps and deliver measurable results.
  • Oversee implementation, integration, and optimization of IAM platforms (identity lifecycle, authentication, authorization, privileged access).
  • Ensure reliable day-to-day IAM services, incident response, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and influence product development to meet firm's needs.
  • Promote Agile practices, supporting backlog grooming, sprint planning, and delivery.
  • Ensure IAM solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate across IT, Security, and business units to design secure, user-friendly identity architectures.
Technology Stack:
  • Current: Okta (IAM), SailPoint (IGA).
  • Future/Planned: Privileged Access Management (e.g., CyberArk).
  • Supporting: Active Directory/LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, MFA, APIs/integrations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CISM, Okta/SailPoint) preferred.
  • 10+ years of IAM or related cybersecurity experience, with leadership of engineering and operations teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM/IGA concepts: authentication, federation, RBAC, lifecycle management, and PAM.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale identity initiatives in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
