• Deliver exceptional mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, tailored to client needs to enhance personal growth and facilitate relaxation.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client stressors, mental health challenges, and treatment goals, developing personalized mindfulness strategies accordingly.
• Guide individuals through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques during sessions to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.
• Lead engaging group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management techniques.
• Integrate mindfulness approaches within individual therapy sessions to address specific client mental health concerns and facilitate overall healing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches that consider all aspects of patient care.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions compliant with practice standards and regulations.
• Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice, ongoing self-reflection, and participation in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in MBSR and related methodologies.

The clients you will support encompass a range of demographics, including adolescents and adults grappling with anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. Your expertise in mindfulness-based practices will be crucial in helping them cultivate resilience, manage their emotions effectively, and foster a deeper understanding of their mental health challenges.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
• Preferred candidates will have extensive training or experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create a soothing and supportive therapeutic environment for clients are desired.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the cultural sensitivities related to mental health care delivery.
• Prior involvement in curriculum development for mindfulness workshops or group sessions is highly favored.
• Engagement in community outreach initiatives that promote mental health awareness and mindfulness practices.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and licensure.
