This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while providing therapeutic services to students primarily in educational institutions. The role involves leveraging digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that you can connect with clients regardless of geographical constraints. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of school-aged children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate closely with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the multifaceted needs of students.
• Offer crisis intervention services for students experiencing acute emotional distress and coordinate referrals to additional support services or specialists as necessary.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate, timely records that comply with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in patient care.
• Engage in regular participation in team meetings, case discussions, and peer supervision sessions to share insights and strategies that enhance clinical practice and refine therapeutic techniques.

This role will focus on a diverse population of students ranging from elementary to high school age, including those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. You will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and safe environment for these young individuals, equipping them with the tools they need to manage their mental health. The position requires sensitivity and adaptability to meet the varied social, cultural, and educational backgrounds of students.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling, ideally within an outpatient or school-based setting.
• Proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapeutic methods and a solid understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously while effectively managing a caseload, along with strong collaborative skills to contribute to holistic care.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills that foster trust and support among students and families.

• Experience working in a school environment and understanding the educational system's dynamics.
• Knowledge of community resources available for families and children requiring additional support.
• Familiarity with online therapeutic platforms and digital communication tools.
