Qlik Developer - 6 Month Contract

Qlik Developer

Location: Remote 

Position: 6 month contract

Rate: $40 - 60/hr 

Overview: We're a 3PL Supply Chain company looking for a Qlik Developer with strong Qlik reporting and communication experience. You will partner with key stakeholders to deliver visually appealing reports with actionable insights. Experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView is required. This is not a data warehousing or ETL role. We are looking for somone with expert-level experience in Qlik who can deliver meaningful data to stakeholders. 
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain interactive Qlik dashboards and reports (Qlik Sense and QlikView) to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Develop, optimize and document Qlik load scripts, data models and ETL processes to ensure accurate, performant data delivery.
  • Collaborate with business users in logistics, supply chain and other functions to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and visualizations.
  • Create and maintain Qlik reporting solutions and scheduled distributions; implement dynamic reporting and self-service capabilities.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting and QA of Qlik applications, including data refreshes, script optimization and front-end responsiveness.
  • Implement best practices for data visualization, usability and governance, ensuring consistency across dashboards and reports.
  • Assist with deployment, version control and release management of Qlik applications and related tooling.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation and support; act as a point of contact for Qlik-related queries and enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (data engineering, IT, business analysts) to integrate Qlik with upstream data sources and downstream systems.
  • Continuously evaluate new Qlik features, plugins and third-party tools to recommend improvements and expand BI capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, with a strong portfolio of dashboard and report work.
  • Proven experience writing and optimizing Qlik load scripts, data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports for logistics, supply chain or operational teams is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Qlik reporting features, distribution, and Qlik-specific tooling and deployments.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX principles for dashboards.
  • Experience with version control, release management and QA/testing practices for BI solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Qlik certifications (e.g., Qlik Sense Business Analyst/Developer) and experience with additional BI tooling are a plus.
