Chandler Behavioral Health, a leading provider in mental health services, is seeking dedicated Remote Crisis Responders to join our growing team! In this fully virtual role, you will be at the forefront of providing immediate, life-changing support through Remote Mobile Crisis Response and Remote Community Stabilization services.


We're hiring Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) who are committed to responding to individuals in crisis and offering short-term, solution-focused interventions to help stabilize and connect them to long-term services.

Candidates must possess the mandated state Mobile Crisis Training Certificate.


What You'll Do (Remotely):

  • Provide virtual one-on-one support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
  • Lead de-escalation, risk assessments, and crisis stabilization interventions using video and phone platforms.
  • Utilize individualized service plans to guide therapeutic interventions and safety planning.
  • Maintain real-time communication and collaboration with onsite teams when required.
  • Document all services in accordance with Chandler Behavioral Health policies and DBHDS standards.
  • Maintain readiness and availability via remote systems and the BHL link during assigned shifts.


What We're Looking For:

We're seeking applicants who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced crisis environment.


Available Shifts:

  • Monday-Friday: 8 AM-4 PM
  • Monday-Friday: 4 PM-12 AM
  • Monday-Friday: 12 AM-8 AM


Must Have:

  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Private, confidential workspace
  • Ability to respond promptly to crisis alerts


This role will support individuals who reside in Richmond and surrounding areas including Henrico, Mechanicsville, Hanover, Chesterfield, Chester, Petersburg, Hopewell, Dinwiddie, Colonial Heights, and Midlothian-but you will respond remotely.


Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential.
  • Mobile Crisis Training Certificate (Required).
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Ability to confidently perform remote assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
