Work Environment

This position is remote, providing a unique opportunity to engage daily with clients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a professional and productive work environment. As part of a community health clinic, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure consistent, high-quality services across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in crisis or requiring ongoing mental health support.
  • Proactively engage with participants to identify prevention strategies that minimize the need for crisis intervention services.
  • Maintain and update crisis alert systems to facilitate seamless coordination with county crisis services, ensuring timely responses for participants in need.
  • Coordinate transitions for clients departing from hospital or inpatient services, collaborating with hospital staff to ensure smooth discharges and continued care post-treatment.
  • Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, providing thorough and timely updates for all involved parties.
  • Assist in the development of community resources and customized programs that address the unique needs of our diverse clientele.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain up-to-date on best practices and new therapeutic methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. Clients may include children, adolescents, adults, and families from varying backgrounds, each requiring a tailored approach to treatment. You will play an integral role in helping them navigate their mental health journeys, empowering them to embrace change and achieve stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high caseload environment while maintaining a strong focus on quality client care.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology, particularly telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems, to enhance service delivery.
