You will join a dedicated team comprising licensed professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and addiction specialists, all working in concert to deliver integrated care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and mental health status, taking into account co-occurring disorders.
• Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that address clients' unique challenges related to addiction and underlying mental health issues.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care, sharing critical client updates and progress assessments.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies to ensure accountability and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. You will work closely with clients facing various challenges, from initial detox to long-term recovery, providing empathy, support, and strategies tailored to their specific needs. The ability to connect with clients and create a trusting therapeutic relationship is vital for instilling hope and motivating them through challenging times.

Qualifications

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training and experience in addiction counseling and evidence-based practices for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with a genuine passion for motivating clients toward recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within a remote setting or telehealth environment.
• Proven track record in addiction treatment and knowledge of specific evidence-based methodologies such as trauma-informed care.
• Experience with documentation and record-keeping within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
