Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including tailored Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs, to clients looking to achieve relaxation and emotional balance.
  • Conduct detailed initial assessments to identify each client's unique stressors, mental health challenges, and aspirations, allowing for customized therapeutic planning.
  • Guide clients in executing mindfulness exercises, including meditation, deep breathing, and visualization techniques, to enhance self-awareness and manage emotional responses.
  • Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, fostering community support and increased motivation among participants.
  • Integrate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are aligned with client-specific mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with diverse individuals seeking mental health support, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional challenges. Your role is critical in providing clients with strategies and tools to understand their feelings, manage stress effectively, and promote their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness practices and the ability to integrate them into therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
