Position Overview

Victory Mind Mental Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role focuses on enhancing the mental well-being of patients suffering from trauma-related injuries, guiding them through their emotional challenges, and developing tailored treatment plans. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work-from-home arrangements while maintaining a structured work schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be a key player in our outpatient office model, providing services that extend beyond the traditional therapy session to include outreach and coordination with community resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental and emotional health to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans and coping strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions, addressing issues as they arise and modifying treatment approaches based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma, stress, and coping mechanisms to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling through continuous education and professional development, ensuring certification as a National Certified Counselor is maintained.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on trauma injury patients. You will engage with individuals who have experienced significant emotional and psychological stress due to trauma, striving to help them regain their sense of stability and resilience. Your role is critical in facilitating their recovery and promoting overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York State.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience working directly with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Experience with Salesforce is a strong plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of direct experience in trauma counseling is required, candidates with additional certifications in trauma treatment modalities (such as EMDR or CBT) will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and remote counseling platforms is also advantageous in this remote role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
