Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and insightful one-on-one video therapy sessions with adult clients, focusing on enhancing their emotional and psychological well-being.
• Encourage open dialogue by guiding clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and past experiences, facilitating greater self-understanding.
• Act as a dedicated client advocate, assisting them in setting and pursuing their therapeutic and personal goals.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health statuses meticulously and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Implement solution-focused interventions and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients primarily consist of adults experiencing manageable, low-acuity mental health issues, including anxiety, stress, and mild depression. By providing a safe and supportive atmosphere, our therapists play a crucial role in helping clients build resilience and develop coping strategies to enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Possession of one of the following California independent licenses: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms are essential to navigate our virtual counseling environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse adult populations in a remote or telehealth capacity is preferred.
• Familiarity with solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approaches will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in community health or similar settings would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your experience and hours worked.
