Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Best Care Health Solutions, you will:

• Conduct thorough and ethical mental health assessments and individual counseling sessions via video chat.
• Utilize evidence-based and solution-focused therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the client's goals and preferences.
• Encourage clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, fostering insight that aids in their therapeutic journey.
• Regularly monitor client progress, providing continuous feedback and adjustment to treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Support clients in developing effective coping strategies to address life challenges and enhance their overall mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve are individuals seeking mental health support for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. You will work with a diverse demographic, allowing for a rich and varied counseling experience that emphasizes inclusivity and respect for each client's background and personal journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, with the ability to practice independently without supervision.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients quickly.
• Strong technological proficiency to manage virtual counseling sessions effectively.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, applicants with the following experiences will have an advantage:

• Previous experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Knowledge of varying therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other modalities.
• Experience working with diverse populations and varying mental health concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
