Assistant Controller โ€“ Mostly Remote for DMV Candidates

About the Company and Opportunity:

  • Our client is well-known non-profit who has been around for almost 100 years!
  • Due to vacancy, they are hiring a temporary Assistant Controller.
  • Position is mostly remote; candidates will have to go into the MD or DC office 1x per quarter and as needed by management.
  • Pay: $58-60/hr depending on experience.
  • Metro Accessible
  • Duration: contract-to-hire, depending on performance, fit, and needs of the business
  • Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p/9a-6p, 40-hour work week

Overview of the Assistant Controller role:

  • Review and approve recurring entries
  • Audit
  • 990's and 990-T's
  • Oversee AP and Payroll
