In this remote role, you will work primarily from a climate-controlled home office setting, with daily interactions facilitated through digital platforms and occasional meetings with interdisciplinary teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients who present with mental health challenges related to a cancer diagnosis, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) for accurate diagnosis.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that consider the unique needs, cultural backgrounds, and personal goals of patients.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to achieve optimal mental health outcomes.
• Creating and maintaining detailed treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Collaborating closely with patients and their families to establish comprehensive treatment goals and objectives, fostering an inclusive recovery environment.
• Providing education, mentoring, and supervision to students, interns, and other mental health professionals, contributing to the development of the next generation of social workers.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving individuals and families navigating the emotional and psychological complexities of living with cancer. You will engage with a diverse client population, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of children, adolescents, and adults facing cancer-related issues.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices and the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate trusting relationships with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling sessions, record-keeping, and data analysis.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in working with oncology patients or a background in trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is also advantageous.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide:
