The service uses a software-based sensor at the customer's network connected to a span port or a network tap.

Job Description

PacketSled is seeking a Controller and Head of Business Operations to lead several key functions for our organization. This role will provide leadership for the development and implementation of various initiatives that align with the company's mission, culture, objectives and strategies. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience in finance roles, basic HR experience, and demonstrated ability to streamline, implement and support processes that improve efficiency throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct and oversee day-to-day activities of key Administrative functions, including; Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business KPI management, Legal, Stock Administration, Travel. and Administration.
  2. Oversee the creation and streamlining of regular financial forecasting, analysis, KPI reports and planning reports to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  3. Full cycle accounting and monthly close, including payroll, using Quickbooks and Gusto.
  4. Assist the CEO and other managers with establishing and monitoring monthly metrics and analytics.
  5. Monitoring of policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with PacketSled's goals and strategy.
  6. Support current offices and lease agreements.
  7. Direct all administrative functions of the Company in accordance with appropriate industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  8. Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measured and monitored and provide overall direction to ensure quality, time, service and productivity goals are met.
  9. Promote a culture that is employees first, customers a very close second and consistent with the company's Core Values. Together with the CEO, build and support an environment where all employees feel completely committed to the vision and to one another, regardless of their office location.
  10. Participate in planning, policy development and support related to administrative and operational functions.

Ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience owning full cycle accounting plus senior-level experience working with attorneys, CPAs, and insurance companies.  Preferably candidate will be based in Santa Barbara, CA plus have demonstated ability to work well with remote employees
