Job description

Who We Are

Come and See exists to invite everyone to encounter Jesus through exceptional storytelling that brings the Bible to life. We are the foundation behind The Chosen - the first-ever multi-season series about the life of Jesus - which has reached millions around the world with authentic, high-quality storytelling.

Our mission has four objectives: complete all seven seasons of The Chosen, translate the series into 600 languages, make it globally accessible, and keep it forever free - so the greatest story ever told can reach the first billion people. We believe excellence isn't vanity; it's our offering. And we do it together, as collaborators in a mission that matters.

This is more than media. It's invitation and we'd love for you to be part of it.

About the Role

Come and See is looking for a Communications Director to steward our brand voice and messaging across all audiences and regions - both externally and internally. In this role, you'll collaborate with the executive team with key messaging, partner with North American and Global PR agencies, and ensure our story is told with clarity, confidence, and consistency around the world.

Clear, compelling communication shapes how the world understands who we are and why we exist. It builds trust, aligns teams, and amplifies impact - especially when our message is shared consistently across cultures and contexts.

You in a nutshell: a seasoned communications professional who understands both strategy and execution, and who knows how to lead through influence. You're a trusted advisor to senior leaders, a strong writer and editor with excellent judgment, and a mission-driven professional passionate about stewarding a global brand.

  • Serve as a brand guardian across all channels and audiences.

Executive Communications

  • Support executive leadership with speeches, talking points, interviews, and key communications.
  • Support executives and department leaders with clear, on-brand communication and messaging content for both internal and external audiences.

PR & Strategic Communications

  • Lead collaboration with North American and Global PR agencies.
  • Develop proactive and reactive communications strategies for key initiatives and moments.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing, PR, development, and executive communications.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Education

  • 7-10+ years of experience in communications, PR, or corporate messaging.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • Experience supporting C-suite or executive leadership.
  • Proven success working with external PR agencies.

Skills & Strengths

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • A strategic communicator who understands reputation, narrative, and influence.
  • A trusted advisor to senior leaders with excellent judgment.
  • A mission-driven professional passionate about stewarding a global brand.

This is a full-time, forty-hour (+) workweek.Frequent sitting and use of standard office equipment. Ability to hear phone calls/video calls and clearly communicate verbally.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.

Our Beliefs, Culture & Commitment

At Come and See, every team member is a critical and valuable part of our mission and ministry. We consider ministry readiness and an individual's capacity to represent our culture and Christian beliefs during the selection process for all positions. An essential function of every role is to uphold and represent Jesus in how we live and behave.

While we unite around our mission, we know unity doesn't mean uniformity. Our calling is too great and our mission too important not to be intentional about strengthening our team with people from all backgrounds. We believe that varied perspectives - across race, ethnicity, life experience, age, and gender - enrich our ability to share the story of Jesus with the world and help everyone, everywhere, experience the authentic Jesus.
