Job description

As a Content Operations Coordinator with our Advanced Surgical business at CONMED, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring content is accurate, organized, and ready for seamless execution across campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be the backbone of content quality and workflow by editing copy, managing version control, and maintaining a single source of truth for final assets. You’ll help keep campaigns moving by supporting review processes, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring everything is packaged, documented, and approved with precision.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining editorial expertise with operational discipline, helping teams move faster while maintaining high standards across both digital and print content.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Edits copy for grammar, clarity, consistency, and formatting across digital and print assets.

  • Ensures references and citations are present and properly linked to approved sources where required.

  • Owns version control and file governance, including naming conventions, folder hygiene, and release notes.

  • Packages and uploads content for review and approval workflows.

  • Maintains audit trails of changes and approvals.

  • Provides traffic support through intake coordination, status tracking, review routing, and deadline management in project management platforms.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve speed to market through better workflow discipline and content operations practices.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5 years of experience writing, editing, and refining digital marketing or print content for clarity, grammar, tone, citation accuracy, and brand alignment, with the ability to translate business strategy into compelling, compliant marketing content in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industry.

  • Strong editing, organization, and file governance skills

  • Experience managing content review cycles, version control, asset organization, documentation, and cross-functional deliverable tracking in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience translating technical or scientific content into clear, compliant, marketing-oriented copy that is accurate, audience-appropriate, and aligned to brand messaging.

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree concentration in Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

  • Experience with content operations, editorial review, version control, and workflow coordination

  • Experience with project management tools and approval workflows

This is a remote role with up to 20% travel.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $85,000- $148,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
