Streamline – Senior Accounting Manager (Remote)

Are you ready to lead a high-performing, fully remote accounting team and serve as a trusted resource for business owners and entrepreneurs? At Streamline Accounting, our dynamic and diverse team delivers “rock-solid financials” and outstanding client service to a network of businesses across the East Coast—all while enjoying true flexibility and a supportive culture. We are not a CPA firm, so we do no tax and no audit, and require no experience in this area and licensure is not required, however we do required a bachelor's degree preferably in accounting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with business owners and senior staff, articulating complex financial data in clear, actionable terms.
  • Oversee multiple client accounts, facilitating daily accounting tasks and ensuring excellent results and timely financial reporting.
  • Champion process improvements and implement best practices to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Conduct and review month-end and year-end close, prepare and present financial statements, accruals, budgets, and audit materials.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, resolving issues collaboratively and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Provide training and onboarding for staff, sharing knowledge and supporting professional growth.
  • Build consensus and maintain strong, trust-based client and team relationships.

Who You Are:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable presenting, drafting documentation, and facilitating group discussions.
  • Adept at cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and consensus-building.
  • Demonstrated leadership, with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  • Advanced in QuickBooks, Excel, and contemporary accounting software.
  • Huge Plus: You have worked at an outsourced accounting company.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; accounting preferred; CPA a plus but not required.
  • Reside in DE, FL, MD, TX, PA, SC, OK, NC, or AR.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits including 401K, medical/dental/vision, paid time off, company-paid life insurance, and a flexible work schedule.
