We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst - S/4 Service and Construction Management Software. This position provides total support to the users of SAP application system and ancillary software tools, including package installation, configuration, enhancements & process improvements, problem resolution, training and education, report development. The position focuses on a specific functional area(s) of the company, which in this case is Sales, Service and HR. The scope of responsibility is for Tremco North American operations primarily, but can also expand to support our Global Operation. Nurtures and insures the successful use of the application systems tools.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
  • Provides feedback on the overall direction of the implementation of new SAP modules and new releases of the SAP application software, as well as 3rd party software tools.
  • Provides 2nd and 3rd level help desk support. Trains and assists users in the use of SAP business application software. Prepares training materials, schedules and conducts application system training as needed. Audience may be other IT staff or end-user staff. Performs cost vs. benefit analysis to determine rational for application system development and enhancements.
  • Acts as liaison between business users, software vendors, and the broader user community. Participates in software and functional user groups to manage issues, evaluate enhancement opportunities, exchange best practices, and stay informed on product direction.
  • Performs systems analysis, design, configuration, and tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion and special reporting requirements, etc.
  • Elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements and prepares functional specifications for system enhancements, integrations, reports, interfaces, workflow changes, and process improvements. Works with technical resources to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Advises users as to the applicability of various alternatives to meet the specified requirements, such as: SAP baseline functionality & reporting, specialized configuration, extracts to PC-based analysis tools, custom report-writing and report development, complimentary software packages, and or changes to business processes.
  • Designs and assists users in the design and documentation of business processes and procedures, the development of training materials, and the delivery of training, etc.
  • Performs thorough testing of all new and revised system functions and reports and performs quality assurance reviews of procedural documentation and training materials.
  • May act as a team leader or group leader for projects / tasks established in a given functional area, such as: sales, service management, construction management, and HR.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience: manager, supervisor, group lead, etc.
  • 4+ years' experience in SAP SM S/4 service and construction management software.
  • SAP HR/HCM and/or Project Systems experience is a plus.
  • 8 - 12 months SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience.
  • 3+ Years SAP Super User in related discipline.
  • Strong customer service skills and orientation. High degree of flexibility in interface with customers / constituents.
  • 2 years' experience in project management skills.
  • Ability to distinguish, learn and accept differences in business and end-user requirements.
  • Ability to learn and expand technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with effective and cycle time sensitive time management and project management skills.
  • Read, write and communicate fluently in English.
  • Note: some of the experiences and time frames may overlap.

Special Knowledge and Skill:
  • General knowledge and understanding of business operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of a specific functional area of business operations (manufacturing, finance & accounting, sales & distribution, etc.).
  • In depth knowledge of the SAP application software, including its functions & capabilities, configuration, reporting and support requirements.
  • Proficiency in analysis, design and testing techniques.
  • Good project management skills, including planning, methodologies, time tracking, leadership, etc.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency with various report development tools, report writers, or query tools, etc.
  • Basic understanding of IT communications networks.

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $105,000 and $125,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
