• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and establish appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their experiences and adopt effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate actively with other team members to ensure holistic care and to coordinate interventions that address the diverse needs of patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective response.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the importance of available local resources.
• Maintain confidential and comprehensive documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research and practices in trauma therapy.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals affected by trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will be equipped to address the unique and varied needs of our patients, utilizing therapeutic techniques that foster healing and resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related conditions and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to maintain composure and clarity in high-stress situations, demonstrating sound judgment.
• Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
