Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven recruiter to specialize in cardiology/cardiovascular subspecialty provider recruitment. In this pivotal role, you will assist in the implementation of recruitment efforts for cardiology/cardiovascular subspecialty positions, leveraging your extensive network and expertise to attract and secure top-tier cardiologists/cardiovascular subspecialists. You will collaborate closely with internal clinical and administrative leadership to understand business needs, manage the recruitment cycle, and deliver exceptional talent solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop recruitment strategies and implement them in conjunction with clinical and strategic leadership to attract and retain top cardiology talent for open practice needs. Work with recruiting leadership to design talent acquisition plans that align with organizational goals and market trends to support assigned territory.
  • Client Partnership & Advisory: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and administrative stakeholders within an assigned territory to provide strategic guidance and solutions on talent acquisition issues and regional market trends.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Oversee the entire recruitment process for requisitions, including sourcing candidates, phone screening, coordinating interviews, and, in some cases, distributing and negotiating offers. Ensuring a seamless experience for both leadership and candidates.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with top cardiologists/cardiology subspecialty providers, including passive candidates, to keep them engaged and informed about opportunities. Provide high-touch support and career counseling throughout the recruitment process.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging talent, and compensation benchmarks. Use this information to advise clinical and organizational leadership to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for recruitment activities. Work with recruiting leadership to prepare detailed reports on recruitment progress, challenges, and achievements to reflect activity against recruitment targets.
  • Brand Advocacy: Represent USHP at industry events, conferences, and through professional networks to enhance our brand presence and attract top cardiology talent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a talent recruiter, preferably within the healthcare or cardiovascular health sector.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the cardiovascular healthcare field, including key specialties, certifications, and market dynamics.
  • Skills: Exceptional sourcing, networking, and communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships with medical professionals.
  • Tools: Proficiency in using sourcing tools, marketing, databases, and social media platforms to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in recruitment or talent acquisition are a plus. Preferred Certifications: CPRP, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
