Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics and be proficient in various technical areas, including computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and field service. This role involves working with security systems, surveillance equipment, and low-voltage installations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement new systems tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations.
  • Provide training to clients on the operation of installed systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.

Experience
  • Proven experience as a service technician in the electronics or security industry.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
  • Familiarity with sensors, alarm systems, telecommunication equipment, and remote access software.
  • Experience with cabling for low-voltage applications is preferred.
