As a Mental Health Therapist at Apollo Health Care Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans that reflect best practices.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy sessions in individual, group, and family formats, utilizing therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Providing support and crisis intervention during acute situations, ensuring clients receive the immediate care they require.
• Collaborating effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including external agencies when necessary, to enhance client outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging in community outreach and educational programs aimed at raising awareness about mental health, thereby promoting wellness and reducing stigma.

Your focus will be on individuals from various backgrounds, including those facing chronic mental health conditions, trauma, substance abuse issues, and socio-economic barriers. To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R).
• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enhancing rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exhibit cultural sensitivity to effectively support clients from different backgrounds and with varying life experiences.
