About the Role
Do you enjoy bringing structure and clarity to complex communications initiatives? As a Communications Project Manager, you'll lead the planning and coordination of employee communications programs and the processes that support them-ensuring everything runs smoothly, stays aligned, and delivers real impact.
In this role, you'll work closely with HR, Internal Communications, Legal, business leaders, and external partners to bring projects to life from start to finish. You'll keep timelines on track, manage inputs and approvals, and ensure every deliverable is accurate, consistent, and compliant. Along the way, you'll also look for opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and systems-helping create more efficient, scalable processes and a better experience for employees, managers, and HR teams.
This is a temporary role with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on business needs and performance.
What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of employee communications initiatives and supporting processes, including workflow optimization and tool enhancements
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, managing timelines, inputs, approvals, and scope changes
  • Coordinate across HR, Internal Communications, Legal, and external partners (including Liquid Agency) to ensure alignment and seamless execution
  • Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement solutions to keep initiatives on schedule
  • Manage and document change requests, ensuring updates are evaluated and aligned with stakeholder expectations
  • Ensure all communications and processes meet regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards
  • Maintain documentation of workflows, communication standards, and approval processes to ensure consistency and operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools, systems, and workflows to enhance scalability and effectiveness
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and overall project execution
What We're Looking For
  • 5-7+ years of experience in project management, internal communications, operations, or related roles
  • Experience supporting employee communications, HR programs, or compliance-driven initiatives preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for employee audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, or similar collaboration and project management tools
  • Familiarity with HR systems or workflow/process optimization is a plus
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work Central Time and travel up to 50%; relocation to Bentonville, AR is possible
