Job description

Job Title: Project Manager - AI Automation
Location: Remote (USA or Canada)
Job Type: Contract

Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years of proven success in leading end-to-end project delivery. This role requires strong operating maturity, stakeholder management capability, and execution discipline, along with the ability to drive outcomes across both business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
  • Distribute and prioritize work across cross-functional teams to ensure balanced workloads and smooth execution
  • Act as the single point of accountability for project execution, stakeholder alignment, and issue resolution
  • Drive project planning, sprint management, milestone tracking, and reporting
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans proactively
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment
  • Maintain documentation, status reports, dashboards, and communication cadence with leadership
  • Ensure delivery governance, compliance, and process adherence throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology or engineering environments
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum practices, sprint planning, and daily Agile ceremonies
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with attention to detail
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar
Preferred Skills
  • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications
  • Experience managing distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Background in software development, cloud, or digital transformation projects
