Upwork has partnered with a global cryptocurrency exchange platform, seeking a Website Manager to own the day-to-day management, performance, and technical operations of their web presence. This role sits at the intersection of content management, SEO, web infrastructure, and digital operations, ensuring the website remains optimized, resilient, and scalable while supporting global user engagement and product growth.
Job Description
  • Manage and maintain website content across CMS platforms, including publishing, updating, optimizing pages, posts, landing pages, and structured content
  • Oversee day-to-day website operations, ensuring site availability, performance, and high-quality user experience
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of website outages, performance degradation, broken deployments, and technical issues
  • Manage DNS records, redirects, domain routing, CDN configurations, caching settings, and other web infrastructure components
  • Maintain and troubleshoot third-party integrations, including analytics platforms, marketing tools, payment systems, and external APIs
  • Configure CMS templates, modules, and functional components to support evolving business requirements
  • Optimize websites for SEO, performance, accessibility, and search visibility; monitor website health using analytics and performance tools to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and content stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain clear documentation of technical briefs and bug reports

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing websites and content operations within CMS platforms such as WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, HubSpot, Webflow, or similar
  • Experience troubleshooting website outages, performance issues, deployment failures, and third-party integrations
  • Strong understanding of DNS management, CDN configuration, caching, redirects, and web infrastructure concepts
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, technical SEO, schema markup, and content optimization
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS to diagnose and resolve front-end issues
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Google Search Console to generate insights
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
