Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the team in SAFe Agile values, principles, and practices

Define and prioritize the product backlog for CI/CD, security and infrastructure features. which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases

Identify differences in understanding issues as they occur

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as data engineering, support and external teams to ensure secure and scalable data pipelines, platforms and systems.

Coordinate internal and external product releases including customer iteration, requirement development and comprehensive testing

Utilize tools and reports, such as JIRA and Confluence, to collect, develop and analyze agile data and metrics while tracking and managing progress

Align DevSecOps initiatives with business goals, HHS/CMS and other security and privacy compliance requirements, and data governance policies.

Ensure CMS ARS controls such as encryption, access control, and secure data transmission are embedded in all stages.

Oversee infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices for provisioning secure cloud resources.

Drive automation of security monitoring and alerting in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., vulnerability scanning, secrets detection).

Ensure observability and logging are in place for audit and incident response.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • All candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S. citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government System which will require that candidates have lived within the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and appropriate VISA/work permit documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field/equivalent work experience.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in product management and end-to-end product delivery in the government or commercial healthcare industry.
  • Excellent understanding of DevSecOps concepts and best practices as well as cloud security principles.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical risks into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Slack and other communication and delivery applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in enterprise level, cross-functional agile teams.
  • Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified PO/PM, or Leading SAFe certifications.
  • Experience with government agencies, contractors, or public sector partners.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
  • Experience managing the integration of security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience managing container security, working with AWS, Terraform, Github Actions.


Working Environment:

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.


Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 5% per year.
