Job description

Azusa Solutions is seeking a Cleared Full Stack Developer to join our team of talented consultants. The Full-stack developer will design, build, and test a web-based application. Edit site content for various components. Maintain website standards and comply with predefined design guidelines. Utilize best practices in web screen design and learn about different middleware platforms to source and update data through web screens as specified in functional requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company comprised of highly qualified, highly impactful, and multi-talented individuals.   
*Candidate must hold an active Secret (or higher) OR Interim Top Secret Clearance *
 
*Candidate must be local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area. *
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in React.js and NodeJS
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience building and working with RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab-CI
  • Knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Experience working with open source software
Preferred Experience:
  • Proficient in working with relational databases (Postgres and MySQL preferred)
  • Experience with AWS containerization
  • Experience working with a content management system such as Drupal to create, manage, and theme content
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environment
  • 508 compliance development

Educational Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
