As a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, development, and emotional well-being to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders and other mental health issues.
• Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with best practices and legal guidelines, ensuring accurate billing and tracking of client progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create comprehensive care plans that encompass both therapeutic and pharmacological interventions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular team meetings, peer consultations, and training workshops offered by Wisdom Tree Counseling.
• Promote mental health awareness and actively participate in community outreach programs that align with our mission.

The clients you will serve range from children to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and care coordination strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and interprofessional colleagues.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in clinical settings providing outpatient mental health care.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral pathways to support clients beyond therapy.
