About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Leasing Director to be a"player-coach". This position will be accountable for sales and targeted occupancy & retention for around 13 WeWork assets. This role drives new sales and renewals for WeWork offices. In addition, to managing direct reports that are responsible for smaller sales in the cluster of targeted assets. In this role, you will:

Drive Leasing:

  • Owning the full sales cycle for new and renewing members in 50+ persons (~5K RSF) to full floor enterprise offices. This involves pitching, touring, negotiating, and executing contracts

  • Generating new sales pipeline through out bounding, brokerage relationships and in some markets, partnering with agency brokers

  • Managing larger, more complex deal negotiations with enterprise occupiers

  • Performing against a quarterly sales goal

Leveraging Real Estate Expertise:

  • Market: knowing local commercial real estate market, inclusive of tenants-in-market, direct/sublease/flex space pricing, and nearby competitor demographics

  • Portfolio: an intimate knowledge of the assigned assets in your portfolio, including being able to discuss all available options, RSF, pricing, WeWork services provided, hours of operation, furniture/IT/other services options, etc

  • Strategic Partnerships: partner internally with our Accounts team and other Leasing Directors across the country on multi-location and strategic enterprise initiatives

  • Presence: have the ability to discuss location strategy, portfolio analysis, flex product use cases with senior executives (CEO/COO/CFO/Head of Real Estate) at prospective companies

Managing a team of Leasing Managers:

  • Leading and managing a junior sales team that is accountable for leasing <50 person offices

  • Mentoring and ensuring junior sales team has expert knowledge of their assigned buildings and all offerings, pricing, services WeWork provides members

  • Ensuring the Leasing Manager sales team has material knowledge in other critical areas (e.g., WeWork value proposition, business objectives and cross-functional relationships that are critical to success)

  • Facilitating team growth and performance. Responsible for annual goal setting, monthly check-ins, mid-year and end of year reviews. Mapping skill sets that need to be developed to optimize performance and/or support career development

About You

Compensation & Benefits


Base Pay and Incentive Compensation: $82,500 to $110,000 annual base pay, plus variable incentive pay with on target earnings of $165,000 to $220,000

WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role, which sets forth the terms of the variable incentive pay and target earnings described above. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
