Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. This position is fully remote, which enables our LCSWs to work from anywhere while maintaining a crucial connection with our diverse patient population. As a part of the Detox Center’s framework, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and support staff, committed to addressing complex behavioral health challenges. • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic methodologies to aid in the evaluation and treatment processes.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies alongside pre-crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support plans.
• Keep meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with community resources, state agencies, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate holistic care.
• Actively participate in professional development activities, staying informed about advancements in social work and behavioral health.
• Serve as a liaison for clients, guiding them toward beneficial resources and support networks.
• Engage in agency-wide initiatives and contribute to maintaining accreditation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall team objectives.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with mental disorders, substance use disorders, and a history of trauma. Your approach will focus on empathy, support, and evidence-based practices, promoting their recovery journey through effective communication and resource navigation. Building strong therapeutic alliances and providing a safe space for open dialogue are critical in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current, state-issued social work license in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in handling behavioral health issues.

• Experience working in substance abuse treatment or detox facilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mental health practices and crisis intervention strategies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
