Position Overview

Retreat Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, which enables our LCSWs to work from anywhere while maintaining a crucial connection with our diverse patient population. As a part of the Detox Center’s framework, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and support staff, committed to addressing complex behavioral health challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic methodologies to aid in the evaluation and treatment processes.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies alongside pre-crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support plans.
• Keep meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with community resources, state agencies, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate holistic care.
• Actively participate in professional development activities, staying informed about advancements in social work and behavioral health.
• Serve as a liaison for clients, guiding them toward beneficial resources and support networks.
• Engage in agency-wide initiatives and contribute to maintaining accreditation standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall team objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with mental disorders, substance use disorders, and a history of trauma. Your approach will focus on empathy, support, and evidence-based practices, promoting their recovery journey through effective communication and resource navigation. Building strong therapeutic alliances and providing a safe space for open dialogue are critical in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current, state-issued social work license in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in handling behavioral health issues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in substance abuse treatment or detox facilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mental health practices and crisis intervention strategies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
