Westside Psychotherapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be engaging with clients primarily through phone consultations and virtual meetings, ensuring that even in a remote setting, support is readily accessible.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will take on an array of responsibilities that are paramount to client progress and well-being. Your day-to-day will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients, gathering pertinent information regarding their mental health status and socio-economic circumstances.
• Designing, implementing, and managing tailored support packages to address specific challenges faced by each client.
• Monitoring clients’ progress continually and adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Providing crisis intervention and guiding clients through immediate challenges using empathetic, evidence-based strategies.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate client records to ensure accountability and adherence to compliance regulations.
• Acting as a key worker, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best possible care, and attending case conferences.
• Facilitating referrals to relevant community services to bolster client support systems and therapy outcomes.

In this role, you will work predominantly with school-aged children and their families who are facing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. A deep understanding of the complexities of issues like child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and substance abuse will be crucial in guiding clients toward recovery and improved mental health. Your ability to forge trusting relationships with clients will play an essential role in their healing journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
• Proven clinical experience in providing direct social work services and counseling, particularly within outpatient settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster strong interactions with clients and team members.
• Cultural competence with the ability to work respectfully and effectively with diverse populations.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.
• Empathy and a genuine client-centered approach to care, enabling the creation of supportive therapeutic environments.

• Experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents.
• Background in trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes beneficial for client support.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold professional standards while dealing with sensitive situations.
