Consistent communication with directors and casting teams, as well as practicing self-discipline, can also help remote child actors thrive in this unique work environment.

What are remote child actors?

Remote child actors are young performers who participate in acting jobs from a remote location, typically their home or another non-studio setting. They audition, rehearse, and perform roles using digital communication tools such as video calls, live streaming, or pre-recorded video submissions. This setup allows children to work on film, television, commercials, or voiceover projects without needing to be physically present on set. Remote child acting has become more popular due to advancements in technology and the need for flexible, location-independent production methods.
