This remote position offers flexibility while ensuring that our LCSW can effectively connect with students and families. Our innovative telehealth platform allows for seamless communication and interaction, ensuring that you can provide comprehensive support to clients from the comfort of your own space. You will work collaboratively with schools and other community organizations to facilitate access to necessary resources and interventions.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients via phone or video calls, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances and challenges.
• Gather and analyze relevant information to develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing best practices to help clients navigate urgent mental health challenges.
• Refer clients to additional community resources, services, and agencies to ensure comprehensive support beyond immediate therapeutic interventions.
• Document all client interactions and maintain meticulous records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular training, supervision, and team meetings to ensure continual professional development and to stay current with industry best practices.
• Monitor for signs of child abuse or neglect, acting in accordance with mandated reporting laws to protect vulnerable populations.
• Support clients and their families in engaging in positive and constructive activities that promote emotional well-being.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with children and adolescents in a school setting, serving those grappling with a range of emotional and behavioral issues. By building rapport with students, you will help them navigate their challenges while also collaborating with families, educators, and other stakeholders to ensure holistic support. Understanding developmental milestones and age-related concerns is crucial in effectively addressing the needs of this population.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies tailored to children and adolescents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated organizational skills for maintaining accurate client records and preparing reports.
• Competency in navigating age-specific or specialty issues within the populations served.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred.
• Experience in a school-based setting or familiarity with educational systems is an asset.
• Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
