The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a compassionate nature, and a commitment to fostering healing relationships.

About the Organization

We value inclusivity and strive to maintain a culturally congruent environment that respects the backgrounds and needs of all clients.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to provide therapeutic services from a location that best suits you. The role is supported by a collaborative online team environment, where ongoing communication and support are vital to successful client outcomes. You will engage with clients through teletherapy sessions, utilizing various digital platforms to facilitate connections and apply therapeutic techniques effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of family dynamics and individual concerns through virtual consultations, providing insightful observations and recommendations.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients to articulate their perceptions of familial disruptions and collaboratively identify therapeutic goals.
  • Explore and outline available resources within the clients’ environment to aid in their healing journey.
  • Uncover underlying issues contributing to dysfunction within relationships, applying therapeutic interventions tailored to individual situations.
  • Support clients through their grief processing, offering coping strategies for various emotional challenges.
  • Advise families on establishing stability in both home and educational environments.
  • Create comprehensive treatment reports that serve as reliable expert evidence in legal contexts when needed.
  • Prepare and present balanced expert testimonies when called upon, demonstrating professional integrity and expert skill.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will primarily work with families and individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma-related disorders. The diverse client population represents various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and life experiences, creating a rich tapestry of therapeutic challenges that require an empathic and informed approach.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania, with the understanding that licensing requirements may vary and typically include passing a state-recognized exam alongside the completion of supervised clinical hours.
  • At least one year of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating competence in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based techniques.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic capabilities to evaluate diverse mental health and relationship issues.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with teletherapy and the ability to effectively engage clients in a virtual setting.
  • Familiarity with local community resources to enhance clients' access to support services.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, or additional training in mental health and therapeutic practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
