Work Environment

This role is designed for a therapist who values flexibility, as you can establish your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home. Our outpatient services approach allows therapists to conduct sessions via secure video chat, creating a convenient environment for both you and your clients. Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored counseling sessions to clients, focusing on enhancing their mental health and emotional wellbeing through video chat platforms.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients express their emotions and experiences, guiding them toward greater self-insight and improved interpersonal relationships.
• Advocate for clients, assisting them in defining achievable goals based on their unique life circumstances.
• Thoroughly assess clients' mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that employ solution-focused methodologies drawn from your clinical knowledge.
• Regularly monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies in collaboration with clients to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with low-acuity clients who have been pre-screened to ensure their stability. This population includes individuals experiencing mild to moderate challenges on their mental health journey. Your role will involve guiding them through structured therapeutic processes that prioritize their emotional health while allowing them to gain insights into their behaviors and thought patterns.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An independent state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses will not be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations for treatment planning and implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills along with a genuine, empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Strong computer proficiency to manage electronic records and utilize video conferencing tools effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly favorable.
• Experience with a diverse client caseload that enhances cultural competencies and therapy outcomes.
• Proficiency in using digital platforms for therapy sessions and familiarity with online therapeutic resources.
